Our Story

BHB Academy was founded in 2012 when my daughter was just 11 years old.
At the time, I was battling health issues and constantly asking myself, “If something happens to me… who’s going to prepare my daughter for life?”

That one fear sparked a movement.

 

I created BHB to give her the confidence, real-world skills, and mindset to succeed.. with or without me.  What started as a mother’s mission to protect her daughter has now grown into a powerful platform that’s mentored over 10,000 girls across the country.

Today, my daughter is a six-figure entrepreneur, living proof that when young girls are empowered early, they win for life.

 

BHB empowers youth ages 5–18 through beauty, business, and personal development.

We teach more than hairstyles... we teach entrepreneurship, self-love, and life skills that build bold, confident young women.

Because no child should ever be left unprepared.
