Our Story
BHB Academy was founded in 2012 when my daughter was just 11 years old.
At the time, I was battling health issues and constantly asking myself, “If something happens to me… who’s going to prepare my daughter for life?” Here we are 14 years later, my daughter is a six-figure entrepreneur, living proof that when young girls are empowered early, they win for life.
Our Mission is to keep going!
What started as a mother’s mission to protect her daughter has now grown into a powerful platform that’s mentored over 10,000 girls across the country. At BHB, we show young girls that being different is their superpower. We help them channel their energy into creative skills like beauty, entrepreneurship, and self-expression, so they can build confidence, discover their purpose, and thrive in their own lane. Because every girl deserves to feel seen, supported, and unstoppable.
BHB empowers youth ages 5–18 through beauty, business, and personal development. We teach more than hairstyles... we teach entrepreneurship, self-love, and life skills that build bold, confident young women. Because no child should ever be left unprepared.
